2,000 take Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) admission tests
Bahawalpur: Over 2,000 candidates appeared in written tests held for admissions to various under and post-graduate disciplines at the Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) here on Wednesday.
The test was conducted simultaneously at main campus here and sub-campuses at Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan for admissions in MBA, MCS, BBA, B.Sc (Honours), BS Botany, Zoology, Veterinary Sciences and M.Sc applied psychology. Around 1,700 appeared at the main campus while 306 and 200 appeared in Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar, respectively.
Meanwhile, the IUB signed an MoU with gender reforms action plan (GRAP) of the Punjab government to establish a career development centre (CDC) here on Wednesday to provide counselling, placement and job-seeking guidance to university students.
