FBISE Girls clinch top slots in class IX exam
ISLAMABAD:14 July: Female students remained dominant and clinched top slots in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I results 2018 announced by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) here Friday.

According to the results, a total of 97,962 regular, private and ex-candidates appeared in the SSC Part I examinations 2018, out of which 63,276 passed with percentage of 64.59 per cent.

In Science Group, a total of 74,952 were enrolled including 44,923 boys and 30,029 girls. At least 53,670 passed including 29,324 boys and 24,346 girls.

In Humanities Group, a total of 9,400 students appeared including 944 boys and 7,456 girls; while 6,258 passed including 773 boys and 5,485 girls.

According to the report 11,020 ex-students and private candidates of science group were enrolled including 7,603 boys and 3,417 girls; while 2,404 passed including 1,413 male and 991 girls.

In Humanities group, 3,590 ex-students and private candidates appeared in the exam including 1,705 boys and 1,885 girls; while 944 passed including 277 boys and 667 girls.

The result was available on the federal board’s website at www.fbise.edu.pk and also through SMS unified code 5050, the candidate will be required to send SMS in the following format to obtain their result FB (space) roll number.

The result cards of the candidates will be dispatched after the declaration of result, however the result status has been conveyed to the candidate concerned through SMS on his cell number given by him in the admission form.

In order to facilitate the candidates, the FBISE has extended the facility of submitting online applications for issuance of migration certificate NOC and rechecking of papers.
