Library

A very well stocked Library with about 24,000 books and 17 different latest medical journals and 1,50,000 medical journals of previous years, is located within the campus and provides an ideal atmosphere for quiet study. Besides the books on medical subjects a good number of books of general knowledge, Sociology, religion and fiction are also available.

Computer Lab
Newly established state of the art computer lab with 15 Pentium-IV computers and 1 Server with laser printer and scanning devices for the training of students at the Institute.    

Museums

The Institute maintains Anatomy, Community Medicine and Entomological Museums. The Pathology Museum is located at the AFIP and has undergone major renovation and improvement recently.

Auditorium
Faruki Auditorium, named in the memory of the first DGMS (the late) Lt. General SMA Faruki, has a seating capacity for 250 persons. Important lectures and weekly Clinico-Pathology Conferences (CPCs) are held here. It is equipped with various teaching aids like overhead projectors, epidiascopes, slide projectors, VPS and public address system etc.    

Accommodation/Mess
Accommodation and messing facility is provided on availability basis in AFPGMI Mess.    

Free Medical Care

Medical Care service includes coverage for health needs of the students, free of charge throughout the academic year. Cases requiring admission and consultation of specialists are referred through CMH Rwp.
