History  of Pakistan International Public College

The school was founded in 1983 by Brig (Rtd) Ijaz Akbar, who until then had served as the principal of the boys section at Army Burn Hall School, also in Abbottabad. He would later hire some of the teachers from Army Burn Hall in his new school. Akbar had previously also been a principal at Military College Jhelum
