International Radio Broadcasting Training Program

Turkish Radio & Television Corporation (TRT) organized a three week long International Radio Broadcasting Training Program in Antalya, Turkey, from October 19 to November 07, 2009. This training program was jointly organized by Radio department, foreign languages department and Education department of TRT. Approximately 100 media professionals from 28 different countries participated in over 70 sessions. The participants were imparted training on latest technological aspects of broadcasting and adopted by many media organizations. As the course was conducted in Turkish language as most of the participants were from Turkish speaking countries. Mr. Muhammad Imran Mehr, Staff Officer to Registrar, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, achieved the unique honor of representing Pakistan in the training programme. The participants visited Antalya in detail and were highly impressed with the natural beauty of the region. They who called Antalya region Mayor, District Kemer Mayor and Rector of Antalya University. They also visited many historical and touristic places like Antalya museum, Phaselis, Perge stadium and Tahtali mountain. An IUB shield was presented to TRT Directors, Mr. Shenol Göka and Mr. Mesut Ertanhan, respectively.
The Vice Chancellor, IUB, Prof. Dr. Belal A. Khan and Muhammad Ishtiaq, Registrar felecitated Mr. Muhammad Imran Mehr, when the latter called on him for his exclusive achievement.
