Students Pay Tribute to Roots School System Founder
Rawalpindi:April 11:Students and teachers celebrated the 26th birthday of the Roots School System (RSS) here on Thursday.
Aesthetically-crafted greeting cards strewn with shining beads and crystal & fabric flowers were presented to the founder of the RSS, Mrs Riffat Mushtaq, for her selflessness, love and passion for children. All RSS campuses wore a festive look. Students were clad in colourful dresses, carrying buntings, balloons, wearing birthday caps and spreading confetti poppers everywhere.
A group of preparatory students showed their affection with the academic institution through their performance on a song with pompoms. Beautifully dressed Montessori students gave enthralling performances.
The cake-cutting ceremony was a nostalgic moment reminding everyone how the RSS has progressed and played a vital role in producing students who are now the pillars of our society.
Founder Director Mrs. Riffat Mushtaq, speaking on the occasion, said “Every individual’s contribution cannot be ignored. It is a long journey of 26 years, in which the Roots has produced students with brilliant and outstanding personalities. The Roots alumni is spread all around the world, each one is well-placed in international organisations,” she saidThe news.
