Due to similar circumstances, classes at the Abdul Haq campus of the university had been cancelled on Tuesday as well.
On Wednesday, a brawl erupted between the Peoples Student Federation, student wing of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party, and Anjuman Talba Islam, a little-known student wing of the Jamiat Ulema-e- Pakistan.
According to Javed Baloch, spokesperson for the PSF, the brawl began over a personal issue.
After Rangers personnel intervened, we compromised and decided to bury the hatchet.

The injured students were taken to the Civil Hospital. The condition of one of the students, Kamran Rizvi, was said to be critical.
No ATI representative was available for comment.
