Kinnaird College wins Lahore Chambers of Industry Business Business Plan Competition

LAHORE: Kinnaird College for Women University (KCWU) on Thursday won the two-day Lahore Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Business Plan Competition 2009, while STEP Institute and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) secured the second and third positions, respectively.

The competition was arranged by the LCCI Standing Committee on Education and was attended by students and businessmen belonging to various institutions. LCCI President Mian Muzaffar Ali chaired the competition while the students from the University of Central Punjab, LUMS, Imperial College for Business Studies, STEP Institute, Government College University (GCU) and COMSATS Institute participated in the competition. LCCI Standing Committee on Education Convener Faisal Iqbal Sheikh said such competitions encouraged students and helped them to start their own businesses in an innovative manner. app
