Kinnaird College for Women University wins LCCI debating contest

LAHORE  THE Kinnaird College for Women University Saturday won the debating competition titled “Utilities; Mismanagement or Shortage” organised by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Standing Committee on Education.

LCCI President Mian Muzaffar Ali chaired the event held at the chamber. The objective of the debating competition is to motivate the younger generation to come up with innovative ideas and participate in the economic activities of the country to make it prosper with their fresh and revolutionary ideas. All the leading educational institutes of Lahore, including the University of Central Punjab, Imperial College for Business Studies, Step Indtitutes, COMSAT Institute and Pak Amins.

LCCI Standing Committee on Education Convener Faisal Iqbal Sheikh urged the students to prepare themselves for the fast emerging global challenges. LCCI President Mian Muzaffar Ali said that it was prime duty of the LCCI to promote business activities in the country and such programmes would help bring about a positive change. He said that the LCCI would continue to arrange such competitions so that the industry which was suffering due to lack of competent people could be able to get tailor-made people.
