BISE Malakand Chairman Rejects Charge

Timegara: The chairman of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malakand, Professor Nawab Khan, on Tuesday denied reports that he had taken students' papers to Peshawar illegally.

Addressing a news conference at Chakdara on Tuesday, he said that he had done nothing wrong to take solved papers of the students to Peshawar and keep it in his custody. He claimed that the papers, taken into custody by anti- corruption and NAB officials from his residence at Peshawar, were of little importance.

"I have taken only Islamiat and Pakistan Studies papers to prepare the annual results early as compared to other boards in the province," Mr Khan said. He said that a certain lobby had been hatching conspiracies against him and the board for the last one year. "I haven't done any fault and will face the case as I am clear," he said.

The chairman also condemned the provincial minister for education for taking those papers into custody. Dawn
