F.P. Report

LAHORE: Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS) students have launched a programme to help poverty-ridden people by providing them with kitchen items at subsidized rates. According to a communiqué issued here Sunday, under Leadership and Community Development programme, three students, Ali Ahsan, Saira Sadaf and Umair Khawar have started a campaign namely "Sasta Ration" to provide poor people with commodities cheaper than the market price. They have opened a small store in Al-badar Colony, mainly unprivileged household colony and are providing deserving residents with basic commodities such as flour and ghee below market price. The project is running on a no-profit on-loss basis and is run by volunteers.
