TUF IEEE students’ branch arranged a seminar “Tech Hawks 09”, first of its kind event in The University of Faisalabad. It was coupled with students’ competitions in various events. Large number of students from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, UET Faisalabad campus, NFC Faisalabad and GCU Faisalabad also attended the event and participated in various competitions. Branch councilor Engr Irfan Abid delivered opening speech and welcomed all the participants. Mr Shafqaat conducted the seminar on Wi Max, a newly emerging technology.
Competitions like Internet Search Competition, Gaming competition, speed Wiring Competition, Sketching Competition, Quiz Competition and Project Competition among the students were very interesting. A very important feature of the event was counseling of the students by market advisor of the corvit. About 40 students were counseled about their carrier prospects.
