Malakand admin issues domicile to 4,000 students
PESHAWAR:December 24: The Malakand district administration has issued domicile certificates to 4,000 students in their respective schools while provision of the same to more than 3,000 students in the district is underway.
An official handout said that Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan had directed the quarters concerned to issue domicile certificates and other documents to students in the easiest possible way.
According to a statement, the Malakand district administration surpassed other areas in the provision of domicile certificates to students of Class-10 within their classrooms.
The district administration, Malakand, evolved an easy mechanism for the purpose, involving the officers of Education Department and the students reading in Class-10.
Through the district education officers (male and female), the deputy commissioner, Malakand, collected the data of all the students of matriculation in the entire district and provided a specified proforma for domicile certificates to all the principals of government high schools.
The concerned principals and teachers were asked to help the students in filling the proforma along with the provision of form-B or detailed marks certificate (DMC) of Class-9 for the purpose of date of birth, copy of computerised national identity card (CNIC) of the father/guardian and undertaking on a simple paper from the parents and the same data and proformas were then sent to the district administration where domicile certificates were issued after necessary action.
Meanwhile, the chief secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed the deputy commissioners of all other districts to follow suit and provide domicile certificates to the students.The news.
