Karachi:August 22:He expressed that the entry test at the NED University helped in judging student’s IQ level, but advised that written test pattern should follow the board’s examination outline rather than adopting the Cambridge system.

Amna Salam, daughter of, Ahsan Salam, 484694, the Degree Colleges for Women phase-VIII, secured overall first position with 957 marks and 87 percentage. She said private colleges paid lot more attentions on a student as compared to the public sector colleges.

Aiman Muneer, daughter of Muhammad Muneer, 484695, from the same college, got 933 marks and second position.
She appreciated the BIEK for adopting new examination pattern, but suggested that syllabus should be upgraded as per need of the time.
Sana Habib Airri, daughter of Habib Ullah Airri, 483111, the Government Degree Science/Commerce College, got the third position with 929 marks and 84.45 percentage. She wants to pursue her career in computer science. She lives in Gulshan-e-Hadeed and her father is a crane-operator. She wants to help her family financially.
BIEK Chairman Akhtar Ghori announced cash prizes of Rs50, 000, Rs30,000 and Rs20,000 for the position holders of both the faculty.
Ghori also announced that around 10 employees of different cadre would be sent for professional training in institutes.
He mentioned that a world famous builder, Abdul Malik, had been given job at the BIEK as a physical sports trainer.The news.
