University of Gujrat to provide sale services in various fields’
GUJRAT: University of Gujrat Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Nizamuddin has said that the varsity is interested to provide sale services in the fields of social, scientific and medical research.
He said this while addressing a function held at a school to award shields to various students who had won different business plans competitions at national level during last year. The vice-chancellor said that it would run gas station, tuck shop and cafeteria on ‘no profit no loss’ basis. He said that the projects would be carried out by the management of the students, adding that this would help promote endowment fund developed for the betterment of faculty and the students at the University of Gujrat. The VC said that the department of the CS and IT, Psychology and School of Art and Design along with the School of Business and Administrative Sciences had the potential to develop the varsity self supporting. He said that the UoG administration was keen to develop liaison with different chambers and the Sameda for the purpose. Earlier, School of Business and Administrative Sciences director Syed Makhdoom Ali Shah welcomed the vice-chancellor and explained different dimensions of academic programmes being run at the school.The news
