A large number of teachers in various cadres from far flung areas of the country have been waiting for their deputation turn in the Capital but delayed and stalemate process eyes no relief for them in the near future. The long list of teachers especially in pay scale BPS-14 (CT) made available at the Federal Directorate of Education gives an insight into the lingering and unresolved issue. Against 63 existing posts (CT) a total of 93 teachers have already been working while as many as 82 teachers had been on waiting list for their turn since 2007. When contacted officials in Directorate told APP that they could not resolve the issue despite the fact that a number among serving deputationist have completed their three-year term but were reluctant to be repatriated. They admitted that certain cases with requests for deputation pertained to year 2007.APP
