SAHIWAL: On the direction of Dr Nazir Ahmed Vice Chancellor Allama Iqbal Open University Regional Director Rasool Bakash Bahram made a surprise visit on the examination center at Govt College Sahiwal and caught red handed Abdul Salam of Chak no 73/4R who was appearing in maths examination in place of Ramzan Roll No 208036664 and case has been sent to the university for taking action and Abdul Salam was also handed over to the police. The regional director also took over a strict action against the teacher who was on duty. Case against Jail store keeper: The police anti corruption registered a case against former store keeper of Central Jail Sahiwal and inquiry against Deputy Superintendent Jail was also conducted regardingt his responsibility. According to details former store keeper Perwaiz Iqbal with the cooperation of the contractor on 20 April in the supply of milk, meat and other articles bogus bills were made. During the inquiry store keeper Perwaiz Iqbal and former deputy superintendent jail Noor Hassan Baghala were also held responsible. The Assistant Director Multan region anti corruption registered the case and started investigation. Ban on fireworks: The ban on the selling of fire works was imposed. According to detail three accused Nawaz, Bashir and Khalil of Sirki bazar grain market and Arshad , Ali Raza of Chak no 118/12L and Shahbaz, Naseer and Afzal of Malik Market were arrested and articles using in preparing the fireworks were also taken into the possession.F.P.
