PESHAWAR: Due to torrential rains and floods in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Khyber Medical University here Friday announced one day extension in the registration date for candidates who wanted to appear in the entry test for admission to medical and dental collages.The decision was made after a meeting presided over by acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Muhammad.

Other participants included varsity Registrar Dr Jalilur Rehman, Treasurer Abdul Sadeeque, Controller Examinations Prof Dr Shehnaz Akhtar and Prof Dr Abid Hussain of the Khyber Medical College.

The acting VC said the registration process would continue till August 2 while registration centres would remain open on Saturday and Sunday for convenience of the students.The entry test would be arranged at the Army Stadium Peshawar and the Ayub Medical College Abbottabad at 9 a.m. on August 8.The candidates were advised to call the university authorities at phone 091-5813015 for further inquiry.The news
