Most humbly I beg to lay before you the following facts in the hope that they will meet your sympethatic consideration.
I passed the Matriculation Examination this year from the Watan Islamia High School and was place in the first division. It is my earnest desire to continue my studies further. But the pecuiary circumstances of my father do not permit this. If you be so kind as to offer me a free studentship I may hope to see my heart's desire fulfilled.
You are a lover of learning and a patron of the needy and deserving so far as education is concerned I am therefore confident that you will extend to me your kind patronage and grant me the favour asked for. It is neddless to say that I am fortunate enough to gain a free studentship I shall spare no pains to prove myself worthy of it.
